Primer correo de Rod

Hi everyone! I`m writing this in both languages as there are some English recipients! If you haven`t had mail from me for some time or ever, sorry for the shock! I don`t get much time to even think about contacting some of you!

We`re in Delhi right now in a friendly hotel waiting for the rest of the party to arrive (1:30 after midnight). The trip, as most of you already know, is to scatter Charo`s ashes in the Ganges at Rishikesh - as famous for the Beatles visit as it is for Yoga and meditation! We`ll all be there on Tuesday 16th December. Duncan, Gilly and I are also hoping to visit Rajaji Nature reserve as it`s just 6 km from Rishikesh and get on an elephant! We hope to do the ceremony on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th. After Rishikesh we`re coming back to Delhi to fly to Kerala in the south for a two weeks of backpacking. We`re already carring too much in the rucksacs as it`s warmer than we expected. I`ll try to keep you on the other end and leave space for Gilly to write the Spanish version! Have a lovely Christmas and New Year, love to you all....

Estamos en Delhi ahora mismo, esperando al resto del grupo en un hotel majo y bonito .
El viaje, como la mayoria de vosotros ya sabeis, es para echar las cenizas de Charo en el rio ganges en Rishikesh - tan famoso por la visita de los beatles como por el yoga y la meditacion. Estaremos todos alli el dia 16 de diciembre. Duncan Rod y yo tambien queremos visitar al parque natural, Rajaji, para montar en elefante. Esperamos realizar la ceremonia el viernes 19 o el sabado 20. Despues de rishikesh volvemos a delhi para coger un vuelo a kerala en el sur para hacer una vuelta de 2 semanas. Ya llevamos demasiado peso en las mochilas porque hace mas calor de lo que pensamos.
